At SEAS, an active and thriving “buddy” program is in place where older students are buddies to the younger students. The “buddy” program builds a wonderful respect for one another and a connection as a school community. The school's staff provide mulitple opportunities for the buddies to get together and connect through activities such as the SEAS stroll, reading to one another, conducting science experiments, or providing a celebration breakfast. The program has shown to be successful in bringing our students together in a positive and collaborative community.
