Admission to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School is based on space available and successful completion of the application process.
Steps in the Admissions Process - New Applicants
1. Inquiry
Visit our website at www.school.seastucson.org to access the link to our Inquiry form.
Our Admissions Director will contact you via email or phone to answer any questions and schedule a tour of the school.
After the tour, interested families may then complete our online application.
2. Application
Complete the online application and upload all required documents on the admissions checklist.
Application checklist documents will differ by grade level:
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants will be asked to provide a Teacher Recommendation from a current preschool teacher (if applicable).
1st grade applicants need an up-to-date kindergarten report card and a Teacher Evaluation from the current teacher.
2nd-8th grade applicants need the prior two years' complete report cards, a current report card, all standardized test scores, and a Teacher Evaluation from a current core teacher.
Once all application materials are received, students are invited to schedule a Shadow Day.
Pre-Kindergarten applicants will visit one of our Pre-K classrooms for the day.
Kindergarten applicants must complete a Readiness Assessment with one of our kindergarten teachers and either attend our Kindergarten Playdate or schedule a day to visit one of our Pre-K or Kindergarten classrooms (depending on year of application).
Kindergarten Readiness Assessments for 2023-2024 will be on February 6 and 7, and the Kindergarten Playdate will be February 9.
1st-8th grade applicants will shadow for a full school day in their current grade level classrooms. During their visit, applicants will complete MAP screening tests in reading and math, and may undergo additional assessments as needed.
All 7th and 8th grade applicants will be asked to interview with the Principal prior to our Shadow Day.
